Angel Facts and Knowledge

Did you know that...

* The word Angel comes from the Greek word, angellos, which means "messenger."

* Angels are God's messengers who carry our prayers up to Heaven.

* There are different classes of angels or heavenly creatures: Cherubs, Seraphs, Ascended Masters, Archangels, Angels, Fairies, Joy Guides and more.

* Angels have never lived a human life except for two who are the Archangel Metatron who lived as the prophet Enoch and the Archangel Sandalphon who lived as the prophet Elijah.

* It was the Archangel Gabriel who told Mary that she would give birth to baby Jesus

* There are angels that are called Fairies. These are the nature angels whose special job is to watch over all living things and help us to connect with our planet. There are many different types of angels whose purpose is to protect and watch over the planet, nature and animals. These angels are called by many different names eg: elementals, divas, pixies, fairies and so on. These do not look like the fairy tale fairies, pixies etc but are called by these names. These angels are deeply connected to the earth and can guide and help us in all areas of our lives. Fairies are brilliant healers and help to heal plants, animals and humans alike.

* The Archangel Michael is the highest of all the Archangels and is often depicted holding a sword. Many who have seen him mention that his eyes look as though there is fire in them -  this is because of the heavenly light that streams and radiates from him. The heavenly light in his eyes is so strong and bright that it looks like fire.

* Angels are the servants of the Lord doing service to God - Hebrews 1:7,14.

* Angel's carry out God's will on earth

* The word Arch means chief and the word angel means messenger. So Archangel means Chief Messenger as they God’s chief messengers.

* Angels are wingless as they are never mentioned in the bible to have wings. We see them with wings as this is how we have learnt to see them through pictures and what we have been taught.

* Angels have no egos or fears

* On earth there are incarnate angels called earth angels who live on earth. You could be an earth angel! These are angels who chose to incarnate in human form to help people to rekindle, their spirituality and repair their relationship with Mother Earth.

* Angels have existed since the beginning of creation.

* Satan is a fallen angel

* Angels are the one thing that all religions agree on even though they are called by many different names

* Each person has at least 2 or more guardian angels since birth. We all usually have at least one male and one female guardian angel. One of our guardian angels will have been with us through all life times and will continue to stay with us always. The other will be a guardian angel who is assigned to watch over you in this life time and this life time alone.

* In the bible all angels are mentioned as male, yet it is believed that they are sexless. They appear to us in a form and sex that we would feel most comfortable with.

* Angels are mentioned 273 times in the Bible –108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament

* Angels were created by God

* Angels were by God's side when he created the earth

* You should never feel guilty asking the angels for help – no matter how big or small the help you need is. Angels love to serve us as to serve us is to serve God. They want for us to call upon them for help and as they want to help us in everyway that they can. To help and guide us is to serve God and follow his will.

* You should NEVER worship angels. Remember that it is God who allows these heavenly helpers to guide and protect up. Remember to always thank God for allowing his angels to help us. “Angels are the servants of the Lord doing service to God” - Hebrews 1:7,14

* It is important to always say thank you to the angels for their help. Just like us, they like to feel appreciated. So remember your pleases and thank you.
