Chakras

One question that everyone always seems to ask is, “What are Chakras?” The word Chakra is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning, “Wheels of Light.” Chakras are spiralling energy centres in our body. Everything in the universe is made up of pure energy. Every plant, human and living thing is made up of this pure energy.

There are 7 main Chakras with many little ones in each of us. These Chakras help to keep us balanced, feed in good energy and dispose of any negative or unwanted energy. If our Chakras are unbalanced then we are unbalanced and struggle to go about our daily lives.

We become depressed or feel tied all the time, our health may suffer or we may find it difficult to grow spiritually. It is important to keep our Chakra’s balanced and cleansed. In this lesson I will teach you how to keep your Chakras and Auras balanced, cleansed and healthy.

The 7 Main Chakras

1. Red – root / base Chakra

2. Orange – Sacral / Spleen Chakra

3. Yellow – Solar Plexus Chakra

4. Green – Heart Chakra

5. Turquoise – Throat Chakra

6. Blue – Brow or third eye Chakra

7. Purple – Crown Chakra

The first of the Chakras is the root / base Chakra. This Chakra is RED in colour and is situated at the base of spine between the anus and genitals, opening downwards. The Sanskit name for this Chakra is Muladhara.

This Chakra is the element of Earth. The key issues associated with the red Chakra are sexuality, lust and obsession, health and the physical body – meaning that this Chakra relates to the condition and health of the physical body, our sexuality, sensuality and our mental stability.

It is important to keep all of our Chakra’s balanced and cleansed. I will provide you with some helpful meditations that will help to keep your Chakras cleansed and balanced.

When the red Chakra becomes imbalanced you may experience various health problems such as fatigue, depression, colds and flu, back problems, sickness, Anaemia, Sciatica, headaches and migraines. Your body’s defence system will be low so you are more likely pick to up illnesses going around. You may also find that your feet and hands feel cold a lot of the time.

The best way to keep your Red Chakra balanced and cleansed is to try out the meditations that will follow in this lesson. Try to get daily physical exercise and plenty of restful sleeps.

You could also try eating more red foods and drinking red drinks as this helps to restore and balance your red Chakra. Gardening and spending time in the out doors is another great way to help keep your Chakra balanced. Wearing red gemstones or crystals helps, as well as wearing red clothing. Good essential oils you can use are ylang ylang and sandalwood.

The second Chakra is the Sacral / Spleen Chakra. This Chakra is ORANGE in colour and is situated below the navel / belly button ( lower abdomen). The Sanskit name for this Chakra is Svadisthana.

This Chakra is the element of Water. The key issues associated with the orange Chakra are relationships, Violence, depression, emotional issues and addictions. This Chakra relates to our feelings, emotions and experiences.

There are many ways to help keep your orange Chakra balanced and cleansed. Eating and drinking a lot of orange foods and drinks is a good way to keep your Chakra balanced.

The meditations that will follow on in this lesson are helpful too, hot aromatic baths, wearing orange clothes works too and so does wearing or carrying orange gemstones or crystals, embracing sensations and trying out different types of foods also helps to keep your orange Chakra balanced and cleansed.

When your orange Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from depression, alcohol and drug abuse, violence, Asthma and allergies, Urinary infections and problems, lower back problems, eating and other types of disorders and addictions, lack of appetite, nausea and Candida and yeast infections. This is why it is so important to keep your Chakras balanced and cleansed. Try using orange essential oils help keep your orange Chakra balanced.

The third Chakra is the Solar Plexus Chakra. This Chakra is yellow in colour and is situated above the navel (belly button) – the stomach area. The Sanskit name for this Chakra is Manipura.

This Chakra is the element of Fire. The key issues associated with the Yellow Chakra are; Introversion, anxiety, fear and power. This Chakra relates to consciousness, ideas, logical processes, belief systems and intellect and mental health.

There are many ways to help keep your yellow Chakra balanced and cleansed. Some of these ways are as follows, try eating and drinking a lot of yellow foods and drinks, wear yellow clothing or yellow gemstones and crystals.

Place many yellow flowers in your home, try read informative books, take up new courses or classes of interest, plenty of warm sunshine and fresh air, detoxing and meditation, doing mind puzzles and mind stimulating games, and using yellow essential oils, use Rosemary in your cooking.

When your yellow Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from nervousness, mental disorders, poor memory, digestive problems, headaches, memory loss, hypoglycaemia, ulcers and stomach upsets, parasites and toxicity, constipation and sinuous problems.

The fourth Chakra is the Heart Chakra. This Chakra is green in colour and is situated in the centre of the chest. The Sanskirt name for this Chakra is Anahata. This Chakra is the element of Air. The key issues associated with the green Chakra are; passion and desire, inner-child issues, tenderness, romance and rejection.

This Chakra relates to the heart, our emotions, sense of love and well being, balancing of our life as well as the expansion of our goals and dreams – and us as a person. This layer is where our auras merge and interact with others, with plants and animals, with people and the cosmos.

There are many ways to help keep your green Chakra balanced and cleansed. Some of these ways are as follows, spending as much time in nature as you can – especially around trees and greenery, by eating and drinking green foods and drinks, using natural products and essential oils- especially green ones, spending time with friends and family, cooking with a lot of herbs, placing house plants with a lot of greenery in your home and meditating.

When your green Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from high blood pressure, find it difficult to express or self or show emotions, heart and breast cancer, immune system problems, muscular tension, loneliness even when you have people around you, difficulties breathing, hearth problems and disorders, chest pains and infections.

The 5th Chakra is the Throat Chakra. This Chakra is blue / turquoise in colour and is situated in the throat region. The Sanskirt name for this Chakra is Visuddah. This Chakra is the element of Ether / Akasha. The key issues associated with the turquoise Chakra are; trusting in our inner guidance and balancing of our higher / lower selves, expressing our selves and speaking opening.

This Chakra is associated with Divine Will, creativity, sound and vibration. It is also connected to communication. There are many ways to help keep your turquoise Chakra balanced and cleansed. Some of these ways are as follows, singing is a very good way to help keep this Chakra balanced, being creative and artistic, working with colours, collecting stamps, art or other type of collections, eating turquoise or blue foods and drinks, wearing blue or turquoise jewellery or gemstones and crystals, writing a lot of poetry, keeping a diary, communication and stimulating conversations, expressing your self more and sharing how you feel, being open and truthful.

When your Turquoise Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from colds, fevers and flu, swollen glands or loss of voice, sore throats and other throat problems, Thyroid imbalances, neck and shoulder problems, tense muscles, throat, mouth and jaw problems, hormonal problems, mood swings and over hyperactivity.

The 6th Chakra is the brow or third eye Chakra. This Chakra is deep blue / indigo in colour and is situated on your forehead just above and between your eyes. The Sanskirt name for this Chakra is Anja.

This Chakra is the element of spirit. The key issues associated with the blue Chakra are; trusting your inner guidance and balancing of our higher and lower selves, our psychic ability and psychic development. This Chakra is associated with our dreams, spiritual awareness, our thoughts and feelings of unconditional love, to honesty and trust as well as to our knowledge and intuitive knowledge.

There are many ways to help keep your blue Chakra balanced and cleansed. Some of these ways are as follows, meditation and listening to calming and relaxing music, reading spiritual books and watching films or programs on the paranormal and supernatural, drawing and looking at pictures of angels, star gazing, wearing blue or indigo clothes, jewels, gems and crystals, eating blue or indigo foods and drinks, also visualization and using your imagination, doing creative things.

When the blue Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from learning disabilities, sleep disorders, hormonal problems, creative blocks, poor eye sight, headaches and problems with your head, shoulders and neck, co ordination problems and bloating and menopause.

The 7th Chakra is the crown Chakra. This Chakra is purple / violet in colour and is situated on the top of your head. The Sanskirt name for this Chakra is Sahasrara. This Chakra is also the element of Spirit. The key issues associated with the violet Chakra is inner wisdom and death of the body. This Chakra is links us to Divine Mind, our super-consciousness, all knowledge, possibilities and our higher truth.

There are many ways to help keep your blue Chakra balanced and cleansed. Some of these ways are as follows, eating violet or purple foods and drinks, wearing purple jewels, gems and crystals, wearing purple clothes, writing and poetry, recording your dreams and visions, doing psychic and spiritual work, inventing things and being creative, focusing on your dreams and meditation.

When the violet Chakra becomes imbalanced you may find that you suffer from skin rashes, headaches, poor eye sight, mental illness, photosensitivity, right / left brain disorders, coordination problems and epilepsy.

Sensing your Chakras

Sit down in a nice quiet place. Make sure that you feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Start at the bottom and with your Root / Base Chakra and then work your way up to your Crown Chakra. Try the following on each Chakra...

Hold your hand about 30cm away from your Root / Base (Red) Chakra. Move your hand gently towards your body and Root Chakra until it meets some resistance. Once it meets some resistance this means that you are making contact with your Chakras energy. Continue to move your hand backwards 30cms away and forwards again to your body and the Root Chakra.

Notice and sense the Chakras energy, how it feels and how different it feels to the rest of your body and aura. You may feel a slight pressure in your body as you do this exercise and press the Chakras energy.

Now move your hand upwards to the next Chakra which is the Sacral / Spleen (orange) Chakra. Repeat the above exercise with this Chakra and all the other Chakras. Notice and jot down how you feel at the end of the exercise and how each Chakra felt.

Meditation to help cleanse, balance and open up your Chakras.

One of my all time favourite meditation to help cleanse, balance and open your Chakras is the shower meditation. I find this meditation to be very simple and easy, enjoyable and leaves you feeling totally relaxed and content. This meditation also helps to cleanse, balance and open your auras. It works on both your Chakras and Auras.

The Shower Meditation

Fist put on some soft music – I find classical or Native American music works best for me. Find somewhere that is quiet and where you will not be disturbed. Either lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Shut your eyes and take in 3 deep breaths.

When you take in your three deep breaths try inhale – hold – breath out slowly.

Once you have done this then look to your left, back in front and then look to your right and back to the front.

Shrug your shoulders – bring your shoulder to your neck and release. Straighten your arms and put your hands into a tight fist and then release. Point your toes down wards and then up again. Have a good all body stretch and then completely relax. Repeat the 3 deep breaths once again then continue to breathe in and out slowly.

Once you feel completely relaxed imagine that you are standing in a hot shower. You can see and feel the warm water as it sprays down on you, making you feel totally relaxed. Hear, see and feel the water – make the vision as real as you can make it.

Imagine the water turning into a beautiful white light.

Watch as a shower of white light water washes over you. Notice any negativity or bad energy wash away and swirl down the drain, leaving you feeling whole and cleansed from any negative energy.

Now imagine the water changing to a brilliant red colour. Watch as this brilliant red coloured water spays on you and cleanses your red Aura and Chakra. See the red water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter. Notice how all the negative energy in your red Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain.

Now imagine the water changing to a bright clear orange colour. Watch as this bright orange coloured water sprays on you and cleanses your orange Aura and Chakra. See the orange water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter. Notice how all the negative energy in your orange Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain.

The water now turns to a beautiful sunshine yellow. Watch as this beautiful yellow coloured water sprays on you and cleanses your yellow Aura and Chakra. See the yellow water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter.

Notice how all the negative energy in your yellow Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain. Now the water changes to a deep green. Watch as this deep green coloured water sprays on you and cleanses your green Aura and Chakra.

See the green water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter. Notice how all the negative energy in your green Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain

The water now turns to a gorgeous turquoise colour. Watch as this beautiful turquoise coloured water sprays on you and cleanses your turquoise Chakra and Aura.

See the turquoise water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter. Notice how all the negative energy in your turquoise Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain.

Imagine the water now changing to a deep blue colour. Watch as this deep blue coloured water sprays onto you and cleanses your blue Chakra and Aura. See the deep blue water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter. Notice how all the negative energy in your blue Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain.

Now imagine the water changing to a deep purple / violet colour. Watch as this deep purple coloured water sprays onto you and cleanses your violet Chakra and Aura. See the deep purple water begin to glow and shine brighter and brighter.

Notice how all the negative energy in your violet Chakra and Aura is washed away down the drain. Imagine the water turning to the beautiful white light again. See your entire body inside and out covered in this beautiful white light. Notice that there is no negative energy around you. You are completely cleansed and whole. Turn off the shower taps and step out of the shower. Grab a towel and dry your self off and then get dressed again.

You are now back in your chair or lying down. Repeat the 3 deep breaths again and come out of the meditation.

Drawing Light to your Chakras Meditation

This is another good meditation that helps to open, cleanse and balance your Chakras.

Fist put on some soft music. Find somewhere that is quiet and where you will not be disturbed. Either lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Shut your eyes and take in 3 deep breaths.

When you take in your three deep breaths try inhale – hold – breath out slowly. Keep breathing in and out slowly. Pay attention to your breathing, notice how your chest and stomach raise and fall with each breath – Do this until you feel completely relaxed.

Once you feel completely relaxed imagine that beautiful white light begins to fill up inside of you. Notice how this beautiful white light starts at your toes and works its way up to your head. See this white light filling up inside of you until you are completely consumed by white light. See the white light flowing in your veins, pumping in your heart and swirling round in side of you.

Now imagine this beautiful white light moving towards your Base / Root (Red) Chakra (which looks like a beautiful red flower. Watch as the white light completely fills your red Chakra and swirls around and around (clock wise) in your red Chakra. Watch as your Red Chakra begins to glow and becomes brighter and brighter.

Now imagine this beautiful white light moving upwards towards your Sacral / Spleen (Orange) Chakra and repeat the same process as above for each Chakra – Sacral / Spleen (orange) Chakra, Solar Plexus (yellow) Chakra, Heart (green) Chakra, Throat (turquoise) Chakra, Brow / third eye Chakra (blue) and Crown (purple) Chakra.

Once you have cleansed, opened and balanced each Chakra, imagine the beautiful white light going out through your violet Chakra and then, forming a protective bubble of pure white light all around you.

Flower Power MeditatioN

Fist put on some soft music. Find somewhere that is quiet and where you will not be disturbed. Either lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Shut your eyes and take in 3 deep breaths.

When you take in your three deep breaths try inhale – hold – breath out slowly. Keep breathing in and out slowly. Pay attention to your breathing, notice how your chest and stomach raise and fall with each breath – Do this until you feel completely relaxed.

Once you feel completely relaxed imagine the Root / Base Chakra as being a tiny little red flower bud. Breathe in sparkling red light and draw the red light to the beautiful red flower bud.

Watch as with each breath the red flower bud begins to grow and grow, it then starts to open up (one petal at a time). The red light you are breathing in swirls around the flower making it glow and grow into a large beautiful red flower that shimmers with red aluminous light.

Once you have done this imagine the Sacral / Spleen (Orange) Chakra as being a tiny little orange flower bud – and continue as you did before with the root Chakra. Do this same process for all of the 7 Chakras.

Chakra Tapping

This is another of my personal favourites. As with all meditations it takes a few tries until you get the hang of it. I do find that you feel a complete difference in your self as a whole after doing this meditation.

Shut your eyes and take in 3 deep breaths. When you take in your three deep breaths try inhale – hold – breath out slowly. Keep breathing in and out slowly. Pay attention to your breathing, notice how your chest and stomach raise and fall with each breath – Do this until you feel completely relaxed. Open your eyes and hold both your hands out in front of you.

Start by tapping your two thumbs together 4 times, then tap your two forefingers 4 times, your two middle fingers 4 times, your two ring fingers 4 times and your two pinkies 4 times. Now rub the flat palms of both your hands together quickly in a circular motion.

Now put the centre of the palm of either hand on the top of your Crown (purple) Chakra – top of your head (right in the centre) and hold it there. Continue to notice your breathing and also notice exactly how you feel.

With your hand still on the top of your head use the other hand to gently tap at the in side of your eye brow right next to the top of your nose – near your eye. While tapping keep your concentration on the hand that is on top of your Crown Chakra.

Then begin to tap on the side of your eye – near your ear, again keeping your concentration on the other hand. It is important that while doing all the different tapping exercises you continue to breathe deeply in and out.

Now begin to tap just under your eye – on the top of your cheek just under the eye. Again keep your concentration on the other hand that is on your Crown Chakra. Now begin to tap just under your nose, concentrating on the other hand that is on your Crown Chakra and watching your breathing.

You can now begin to tap under your mouth. Again keeping your concentration on the other hand that is on your Crown Chakra. Keep breathing deeply in and out. Now begin to tap at your collar bone. Take a deep breath in and out and concentrate on the other hand.

Now take your forefinger and tap the top of your thumb. Do this several times all the time keeping your concentration on the other hand and on your breathing. Now use your thumb to tap the side of your forefinger – keeping your concentration on the other hand and your breathing.

Use your thumb to tap the side of your middle finger and continue until you have done this process with each finger. All the time keeping your concentration on the other hand and breathing deeply. Then relax and notice how you are feeling and if you can notice any differences in how you feel.

Now take the hand that was on the top of your Crown Chakra and move it so that the centre of the palm of your hand is covering your third eye Chakra. While concentrating on the hand covering your third eye Chakra – use the other hand and begin to tap at the side of your eye – near the ear. Remember to keep your concentration on your other hand and breathing.

Like before tap on the inside of your brow, out side of your eye, under the eye, under your nose, your collar bone and fingers, all the time keeping your concentration on the hand covering your third eye Chakra, also keep breathing in and out deeply. Then relax. You are just repeating the above process but with your hand on the third eye Chakra in stead of the Crown Chakra.

Do this for each of your Chakras. So next you will put the centre of your palm over your throat Chakra – then continue with the tapping exercise. Once you have done all of your Chakras you should notice a huge difference in your self - if you do not then just try the exercise again later.

Some of Natasha’s Experiences

Ghost Dogs

When I was 13 years of age my brother, sister and I went for a long walk in a large field that was just outside our house. It was a hot and sunny summer’s day and the walk was an enjoyable one. We soon approached a large tree and decided that we would sit under the tree and eat our picnic lunch that we had brought with us. We were about to approach the tree when to our horror, we saw hanging from a large branch of the tree were 3 dead dogs. They all had ropes tied around their necks and were just hanging there.

We were horrified and began to run in the opposite direction. We did not run far - only a half a minute run when we looked back and to our surprise the dogs were gone. There was not sign of them anywhere. They had just vanished as fast as they had appeared. It was a terrifying experience and one we will never forget. We ran home and told our mother what had happened and she told us to stop being silly. She said that it was all of our imaginations and we were only scaring our selves.

Upsetting Vision

On the 22nd of October 2009 I had a very upsetting vision. I had just gone to bed, said my prayer, looked over at the clock and was about to settle down for the night when a vision suddenly jumped into my mind. I knew it was not a dream but a vision as I was wide awake when it happened. I saw my husband David’s mum walking down the stairs in our front garden and she was coming to see me. I saw her out of the window and waved a hello.

As she approached our back door she looked over at me and smiled then her face suddenly changed. She looked directly at me and pulled the most horrid face at me – as though she were in great pain or distress.

Her mouth was very wide open as though she was screaming but I could not hear any screams. I jerked out of the vision as it terrified me to the limits. I then had swarms of visions popping in my head and I tried in vein to block them out as all I wanted to do at the time was go to sleep.

The next morning I told my husband what had happened and he told me I was being silly and it was only a nightmare. He went to work and I got on with my daily chores of house cleaning and school runs. I then got a phone call later on that day from my husband saying that he had some very upsetting news that his mum was rushed into hospital.

He said that she was up all night with terrible cramps in her stomach – on her right side near her kidneys. His dad rushed her over to the hospital that afternoon as she was buckling in pain. We spent all that evening worrying about her and praying that she would be okay.

The following night we got a phone call at 9.30pm from his mum. She said that she was out of hospital and feeling much better in herself. She said that she had a kidney stone and that is why she was in so much pain. I am so very grateful to the angels and God for watching over my mother in law. I am also grateful that it was nothing too serious and that she made a speedy recovery after she passed the stone. I do believe that the vision I had was trying to prepare us for her going into hospital that day.

Ghost Girl by my Bed!

On the 3rd of September 2009 I had just lay down in bed and said my prayers. I was just beginning to drift off to sleep when I felt as though I was being watched. I opened my eyes and looked up to find a little girl standing next to me near my head.

She had long brown hair and it was tied in half pone but it looked like an old fashioned her style. She wore a green woollen cardigan with buttons at the front. The buttons were undone and a yellow top was underneath. She also wore a beige skirt and old fashioned brown shoes. Her clothes were very old fashioned, sort of war time looking.

She turned and looked at me but I could not make out her face. I could see her face but it was slightly blurred. She moved closer and closer to me and the closer she got the more her face became clearer. I then noticed that her face was changing from a young girl to a woman about the age of 42-45 years old.

I quickly blinked my eyes and shook my head, looked at her again. She then turned into a shadow and darted across the room at a high speed and vanished. At my bedroom window was a white mist moving. I could then smell the smell of smoke as though there was a fire somewhere. Our whole room was filled with smoke so I looked out of our bedroom window and saw that there was thick smoke all out side too.

I woke up my husband Dave and he saw the smoke out of the window - we were puzzled as we could not see a fire or hear fire engines. It was all very strange! The next day my husband and I were driving though our little village when I saw a lady walking on the road side. She looked exactly like the lady I had seen the night before.

About a week or so after the incident my daughter Monique told me that she kept seeing an old fashioned little girl standing in our hall way, she described the girl is exactly the same as what I saw.

This girl still lives upstairs in our hall way and she is quite fond of Kristi my youngest daughter. Kristi keeps telling me that at night when she is trying to sleep she has someone keep tickling her feet and waking her up. She also said that she keeps seeing bright lights in her room that wake her up.

One day my friend Wendy popped round for lunch and she took a look upstairs. She too could feel the presence of this little girl and felt that she likes Kristi and likes being around her. I feel that this little girl could be Kristi's spirit guide. She may have died at 42-45 years old but shows herself as a young girl.

Ghost House

When I was about 9 years old my two friends Angela and Tracey as well as my sister and I decided to, explore an old empty house which was up the road from where we lived. It was empty and being children we wanted to explore and be nosy. As soon as I stepped a foot into that house I had horrible visions come to me. My friend Tracy sensed the same thing and asked if I had the horrid feeling in the house too. Still this did not stop us and we continued to explore the empty house.

After a while of exploring we went into the back garden and decided to climb up a tall pear tree. The tree was large and filled with delicious ripe pears. It was not long before all 4 of us were munching away at the delicious fruits. All of a sudden I looked down at the pear in my hand and screamed. Large white maggots riddled the once fresh and clean fruit and I puked up. My friend looked at me in disbelief and asked if I was okay. I asked if she could see the maggots and she said no. I remember feeling a nasty feeling come over me, I also felt like I was going mad as only I could see the maggots in the fruits.

I then heard crying and yelling coming from the house. I glance up at the house and to my horror saw that in the large French doors was a woman with long black hair screaming and pounding at the glass. Next thing a thin tall man walled up to her and began to stab her in the back. Blood poured out all over the woman and the glass French doors.

I then heard a very loud bang sound and the man fell to the floor. I then looked over at two dog kennels that were out side in the garden and to my horror saw vicious looking ghost dogs coming out of the kennels. Their flesh looked as though it were pealing off of them. They had bloody mouths and sharp white teeth. I leapt to my feet and ran as fast as I could back to my own home. Tracy, Tahlita, and Angela came running after me – confused as to why I had run off crying. I told my mother and my father everything that had happened and they became very angry with me telling me that this nonsense has to stop and that I was not only scaring myself but also my brother and sister.

My father was livid as these sort of things happened to me a lot. There were many times when I would beg my parents to remove all my toys from my room as I could see them watching me and moving. My father was so angry at me for always being so afraid and he truly believed I was making it all up. That evening he dragged me back to the house and made me go through each room. He showed me that there was nothing there. To my surprise the man and woman where gone, the blood was gone and so were the ghost dogs. Still I could not shake the horrid feeling with in me as soon as I stepped into that house.

There were still a lot of belongings in the house left by the people who lived there before. He told me to take a few of the belongings and bring them home. I chose a doll for my sister and a painting of a young boy for myself. For about a week after the incident I could not sleep with that painting in my room. I would clearly see the eyes of the boy in the painting moving and he would pull horrid and wicked looking faces at me. I kicked up such a fuss over this picture that my father eventually took the picture from my room and burnt it in the back garden.

It was only years later when I was in my teens that my mother confessed to me that there was a married couple who lived in that house and something had happened there. The husband stabbed his wife to death before shooting himself in the head. This had happened months before my friend and I had visited the empty house. She said that it was years before anyone else lived in that house again.

Misty Presence

In September 2009 I was sitting in the lounge while my husband and two daughters sat in the dinning room eating their dinner. I did not join them as I was not feeling too well that day and did not feel like eating.

I looked over at my family in the dinning room eating their dinner when I noticed the dinning room curtains moving quite swiftly (which was strange as there was no window open or wind.) My family did not see the curtain moving as they were so engrossed in their conversation.

I then saw a misty haze - almost like heat waves that you see on the road on a hot summers day, move across the room by the window. It then vanished. A few days later I was watching telly when I saw the same misty haze move across the room and into the dinning room before disappearing.

A few days later I put on some music and began cleaning the house and sweeping the lounge floors. I was singing away happily along to the music as I swept the floors. All of a sudden I heard this loud "Shhhhhhhh" right in my ear (even felt the breath) as though someone was standing right by me. lol I screamed, dropped the broom and ran out of the room. Think it was just the initial shock as I was completely in my own world miles away when it happened.

I have now learnt that the misty haze spirit is of an elderly lady who lives in my house - the one who loves to knit. I am sure she is the elderly lady who lived here before us and who passed away in the house before we moved in. She has taken quite a liking to my husband Dave as I keep seeing her following him and standing by him. She means us no harm and she really does just enjoy doing her knitting and watching us go about our every day lives.

She does get annoyed though when I put the music on too loud or if I play rave songs or heavy sounding songs, as she keeps messing about with the cd player making the songs get stuck or jump (only the heavy songs.) There is one song in particular that she does not like and turns the song off each time I put it on. I do find this to be very annoying some times but then I have to smile.

Homework

* Cleanse and balance your Red Chakra by trying to get daily physical exercise and plenty of restful sleeps. You could also try eating more red foods and drinking red drinks. Gardening and spending time in the out doors, wearing red gemstones or crystals helps, as well as wearing red clothing.

* Cleanse and balance your Orange Chakra by eating and drinking a lot of orange foods, hot aromatic baths, wearing orange clothes and wearing or carrying orange gemstones or crystals, embracing sensations, try out different types of foods – especially foods you have not tried before.

* Cleanse and balance your Yellow Chakra by try eating and drinking a lot of yellow foods and drinks, wear yellow clothing or yellow gemstones and crystals. Place many yellow flowers in your home, read informative books, take up new courses or classes of interest, plenty of warm sunshine and fresh air, detoxing and meditation, doing mind puzzles and mind stimulating games, and using yellow essential oils, use Rosemary in your cooking.

* Cleanse and balance your Green Chakra by spending as much time in nature as you can – especially around trees and greenery, by eating and drinking green foods and drinks, using natural products and essential oils- especially green ones, spending time with friends and family, cooking with a lot of herbs, placing house plants with a lot of greenery in your home and meditating.

* Cleanse and balance your Turquoise Chakra by singing as much as you can, being creative and artistic, working with colours, start up a collection, eating turquoise or blue foods and drinks, wearing blue or turquoise jewelry or gemstones and crystals, writing a lot of poetry, keeping a diary, communication and stimulating conversations, expressing your self more and sharing how you feel, being open and truthful as much as you can.

* Cleanse and balance your Blue Chakra by meditating, listening to calming and relaxing music, reading spiritual books and watching films or programs on the paranormal and supernatural, drawing and looking at pictures of angels, star gazing, wearing blue or indigo clothes, jewels, gems and crystals, eating blue or indigo foods and drinks, also visualization and using your imagination, doing creative things.

* Cleanse and balance your Violet / purple Chakra by eating violet or purple foods and drinks, wearing purple jewels, gems and crystals, wearing purple clothes, writing and poetry, recording your dreams and visions, doing psychic and spiritual work, inventing things and being creative, focusing on your dreams and meditation.

Try out the meditations provide with this lesson. Find the one that works best for you. Also try the sensing your Chakras exercise and jot down what you sense and how you feel.

If you can – try buying a Chakra bracelet or necklace. You can find these on e-bay for only £1 - £2 pound. Any Chakra bracelet or necklace will do just fine those I find the crystal ones very good too.

Write down in your psychic journal how you felt before cleansing and balancing your Chakras and how your feel after the two weeks of doing your homework. Write down any differences in your self, how you feel and in your experiences.
